    What do you think?

    • Hmm, honestly, I wouldn't put a lot of stock in this. Imperial's are getting another shuttle in Wave X with the Upsilon and the Rebel's are getting one with thr U-Wing. Both the Delta and Resistance Transport would be redundant. The Mining Guild TIE though, I can easily see that. Completely different from the Imperial TIE and a good tie in (shall we say) for Scum.

    • Here's the canon ships I can think of that haven't been made for each faction:

      Rebels:

Sorosub Luxury Yacht 2000 (Aka Lady Luck - that ship isn't canon, but its class is)

Resistance Transport (I could see it being a more offensive version of the U-wing with cannon and torp slots, and maybe a tallon roll)

B-Wing Prototype (From rebels; the ship's got a different design from the ones in VI plus that awome beam cannon thingy)

      Empire:

Mining Guild TIE (As said above, could also be Scum)

Krennic's shuttle (Looks awsome but could be hard to make it different from existing shuttles)

Sentinel-Class Landing Craft (These had ion cannon turrets and missiles at least in legends so they might be a little more likely)

      Scum & Villainy:

HH-78 Starhopper (Just a random canon ship)

      Mining Guild TIE

Ark Angel (From Vader comic; would be worth it purely to get an Aphra crew card / pilot)

    • Haha that Mining Guild TIE is actually pretty rad. I want to hate it, but I just can't. I especially like the fact they've cut away the panels blocking the pilot's peripheral vision.

I don't like the speculation game (because I'm terrible at it) but I'd like to see the Scurrg Bomber. It's already in Armada, and the Scum are lacking a small-base dedicated bomber.

        Loading editor
    • Mind you, that Mining Guild TIE is supposed to be even cheaper than Imperial TIEs already are, so its transition to the game would be weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeird.

      Less than 12 points maybe?

    • I'd be okay with Scum getting a sub twelve point ship. I was kind of hoping that role would fall to the "Uglies" however.

    • Oh man, I really don't want to verse the guy who brings nine 11-point ships and makes a 1-point initiative bid.

    • Me either but it's not like those ships would be good. Maybe three hull, no shields with two defense and two attack. Gotta remember, those things got vaped really fast by Rogue Squadron.

    • Or maybe a prequel based wave?

      - V-Wing for empire

      - Naboo Starfighter for rebels

      - Vulture droid for scum

      They all are canon ^^

        Loading editor
    • They may be cannon, but the only one that I personally would like to see would be the V-Wing and on the Scum side. Make it the Scum's A-Wing.

    • I  just want the YT-2000 to come out :D

Also would be happy with something like Rebel Veterans. If I could aks to put a mod card for the A-Wing to give him more fire power that would be nive. And while we're at it... a mod for the E-Wing that gives him native Boost.

For the other factions... I don't really play any of them neither do I like them so.. whatever... :D

    • Frankly the idea of mashing ships together isn't that farfetched so I expect them to come back in the new canon.

    • I'm still holding out hope for a Sun Crusher one day. But if they're still making Legends ships (which I hope they are), Skipray Blastboat, Missile Boat and Rogue Shadow would all be awsome.

        Loading editor
    • Maybe I'm remembering it wrong, I read all the old EU about a decade ago as a lonely, nerdy teenage, but wasn't the Sun Crusher effectively invincible?

        Loading editor
    • Yeah, it was. Even if they made the quantum armor a modification or something like that, that stuff could tank a hit from the death star so it would be just about impossible to balance. But a guy can dream :)

    • As long as Scum gets an Epic ship sometime in the near future, I'll be okay. Been waiting on that for a while.

        Loading editor
    • It would be interesting if Epic Scum worked on a cash nexus, instead of energy.  They pay for ships/pilots to fight for them, power their shields, man the turrets, etc.

        Loading editor
    • I think discussing anything besides canon ships is a bit far-fetched. I believe I read somewhere that FFG was moving towards canon ships, probably due to requests for more merchandise synergy from Disney. And the only prequel ship we'll see will be the ARC-170. Maaaaaybe the V-Wing, but they were used mainly by the Empire, and they have enough fast ships.

With that in mind, I think we will see a little more from the Rogue One film. But besides that, there are several books and comics, that can provide material for new ships:

The Ark Angel is a beautiful ship, but I'm unsure of it's size. It's seems really big. But I have nothing to compare it with at the moment. The Sentinel class shuttle is definitely too large. It's capacity is almost four times that of a Lambda. Maybe as another epic?

Apparently Incom is very productive. I doubt we'll see it, as it's so similar to the T-70, but the T-85 is the newest X-Wing model. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/T-85_X-wing

The SS-54 has a great design as seen in Clone Wars. But it's featured in Aftermath as well, so it fits with the time window. As Scum ship, that could look like it could carry alot of ordnance. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/SS-54_assault_ship/Canon

The HH-87 Starhopper, also featured in Clone Wars and Aftermath could introduce Hutt cartel elements. It's an ugly ship, but that would fit well with most of the Scum fleet anyway. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/HH-87_Starhopper

I'm sifting trough books and comics to find more mentions of ships, but I can't afford every comic yet and I refuse to read the young adult books, so I¨m not updated on all the canon ships. But keep an eye on the Rebels show. They carry a lot of weight in the game currently, so anything new might be introduced. On that note, I hate the Mining Guild TIE. It's ghastly.

        Loading editor
    • Mmmh... If you make a mining guild tie cheaper than the Tie/ln... The bargain is probably a 2/2/2/0 -Statline and/or no Evade Action...

I'm not sure if the image attached to the Wookiepedia is an official image of a T-85. I back-traced it a while ago and found it originated on a Deviantart fan page. I don't have the book, so I can't confirm, but does that image appear in any official place as the T-85?

Sometimes companies commission Deviantartists, which would make the image canon, but usually these artists specify when their work is commissioned, and he has tagged that image as 'fan art.'

    • People tend to bring up the N-1 since it appeared in the Shattered Empire comics (just after RotJ chronologically), but they were antiques left in a hangar for 20 years and weren't facing other starfighters. A couple other appearances and I wouldn't be too surprised if it showed up in X-Wing.

        Loading editor
    • Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of the N-1. Would it fly for Rebels or Scum? Plus, its got an astromech and torpedo slot. So what, we'd get another T-65/T-70 ship? Eh, I'm still pretty much on the fence leaning more towards against the N-1.

        Loading editor
    • The difference is that the N-1 would probably have a TIE fighter's Green/Red stats (i.e. 2 primary and 3 agility). That combined with a better (read: interceptor-ish) dial could make a ship with those slots interesting. Basically I see it as an A-wing with an X-wing's upgrade slots, which sounds intriguing to say the least.

Plus they've got 3 named pilots ready to go: Shara Bey, Queen Soruna, and Leia. If they can bring in the ARC, they can bring in the N-1.

        Loading editor
    • The ARC-170 saw service after the clone wars. The N-1 didn't. And I think it should have worse stats than a Z-95, as they were developed later and are becoming outdated in the original trilogy. Something like 2/2/2/1 with torps and astromechs and a worse dial than the Z-95.

        Loading editor
    • True about the post-clone-wars service. I'd personally prefer a Legends ship more associated with the rebellion than the N-1; the only reason I think they might do it is because it showed up in Shattered Empire and there aren't too many Rebel canon ships left (plus they've been fine with corner cases like the TIE/sab). 2/1 does sound about right for shields/hull; I stand by thinking they've got 3 agility, but it's defintely borderline.

Interceptor dial is probably a bit much for a ship that old, you're right, but I think a TIE fighter dial could be reasonable. Keep in mind that it's not just the age of the ship but how much it cost. TIE fighters are a lot newer than ARC-170s but they're weaker because they're mass produced and corners were cut. Considering that these were the best the Naboo government could afford I woudn't say they're completely obsolete.

There's much wrong with that statement. First of all the Z-95 is an older than the ARC-170. Second the Z-95 is a light interceptor kind of ship and the ARC-170 is a heavy superiority Fighter. So newer equals better doesn't apply here. It's like saying my bycicle has to outperform an SR-71 Black Bird, because it was developed later.

And there could be a pletora of reasons, why the Headhunter is still widely in use, while the ARC isn't. Could be that simply based on the fact that the Z-95 was easier to build, there are way more around of those, what would make it way easier to find spare parts for them. Maybe the ARC was never on the privat market and the empire salvaged most of them...

        Loading editor
    • I'm also not a fan of the N-1 in X-Wing... It's a nice ship, but it doesn't fit... the arc at least looks like something you would encounter in the original trilogy... the N-1 really doesn't.

        Loading editor
    • Oh, LasseKaa was talking about the N-1... uuuups... forget what I just said ;)

Yeah the N-1 one is significantly older and also a ship of a navy of a planet that doesn't seem to spend to much on their military, so they probably weren't even top of the line back in Episode One.

        Loading editor
    • the mining tie picture looks like a real miniature :D

    • I dunno, for a planet who aren't really militaristic the Queen sure did have guns hidden in her throne...

        Loading editor
    • We don't know, if that is a standart feature of that throne or was only installed after the blockade started. It's not uncommon to arm your high ranking officials in a time of war. In my work as a historian I just found a document about how the military provided hand guns for the swiss government during World War 2. Then again, Switzerland has a bigger airforce than the planet of Naboo. ;)

        Loading editor
    • Mining Guild TIE FTW.

        Loading editor
    • That's a complex and weird way of arming your officials, may as well just arm them regularly, rather than hire someone to put them in once a blockade is starting.

Didn't Natalie Portman even say that she wouldn't choose a course of action that would lead her people to war? Saying that a few days after you have a hidden pistol compartment installed in your throne reeks of irony.

Mind you, the Phantom Menace gives about 0 relevant context regarding time.

    • First episode Season 3 of Rebel is out. Spoilers: Mining Guild Ties return.

        Loading editor
    • Honestly, I like the idea of the mining guild TIE. However, would it fly Scum or Empire? They may serve the Empire, but it seems much more like a scum faction.

        Loading editor
    • I think clearly scum... it seems to me, that the Mining Guild TIE is specificly built for 'export', kind of like a 'civilian'  TIE. We've never seen the empire using it themselves and it's possible, that there are other users of that TIE beyond the mining guild.

        Loading editor
    • Now, the question is, would the mining guild TIE be all generics? We really don't have any pilots for it and we have expansions that are all named pilots. Why not all generic?

Or maybe a sub twelve point ship.

        Loading editor
    • If it's below 12 points, I can imagine FFG making all the pilots unique (even if none are very effective) so there's a sane limit on the number you could field all at once.  X-Wing enjoys an advantage of short game lengths over, say, 40K; given the way X-Wing's phases work, letting someone field 12 or 14 ships would easily slow the game to a crawl (as with Epic games).  Also, I don't think they'd want to undermine the iconic TIE Fighter as the game's go-to mass-produced swarm ship.

More likely, the mining TIE would be more expensive and slightly less maneuverable than a tie fighter, but would come with more upgrade slots and possibly some useful support skills through pilot abilities or titles.  Maybe a mining laser secondary weapon that bypasses shields if they're touching a ship during combat, having a chance to deal a face-down damage card.

      Example title or secondary weapon:

"You may not attack while touching other ships.  At the start of the combat phase, if you are touching an enemy ship in your firing arc, roll an attack die.  On a hit, deal one face-down damage card to the enemy ship; on a crit, deal a face-up damage card to yourself."

I personally think that would be thematically and mechanically neat.  Large ships beware, you could be scrapped in place!  ^_^

        Loading editor
    • Okay, completely disregard my ideas. Wazat hit the nail right on the head.

        Loading editor
    • As far as unique pilots go, there is that one random dude who was leading the rodians in the whale episode. They could easily just come up with another 1 or 2 a la Quickdraw and Backdraft.

Wazat's Mining Laser idea is really cool, and something like it seems pretty likely considering they've been doing stuff like that a lot in waves 9/10 to give the ships a unique feel. I'd personally predict a 2/2/3/0 ship with something like a z-95's dial (they didn't turn as well as regular ties due to the big chunk of stabilizer missing). Illict slot definitely to make up the loss of the extra agility since any ship less than 12 points, like Wazat said, is going to be busted.

And it's obviously scum. Since when does the empire actually paint their ships? (Slave 1 doesn't count)

        Loading editor
    • I don't like the idea to make an entirely new ship out of the mining guild TIE. It is a TIE fighter after all, just slightly modified. Instead, like with "Sabine's Masterpiece", I'd make it a non-unique title:

      TIE/mg

Scum only. Add the (cannon) and (illicit) symbols to your upgrade bar. Treat your 1 turn maneuvers as red maneuvers.

      Squad point cost: 1

I like the idea of the mining laser and this title would translate the concept very well in my opinion.

        Loading editor
    • It kind of is a new ship though. It's not only a new color scheme but it's also mising part of the solar panel.

Mining Guild TIE fighters[2] were modified TIE/LN starfighters[3] that the Mining Guild was allowed to use due to its association with the Galactic Empire. In order to make those fighters clearly distinct from the ones in direct service of the Empire, they had a yellow color scheme. They also had a notch cut in their stabilizers, giving them only eight solar collectors instead of twelve, which gave them improved visibility, but greatly diminished their combat capabilities and maneuverability

      (Source: Wookieepedia)

It's a TIE yes, but it is very much so different from the imperial's TIE.

        Loading editor
    • Agreed. If it was only the appearence that was different then maybe they'd go for a title (although that model looks way too cool not to make), but the maneuverability is affected as well. Different dial = different ship. Definitely in the same family though.

        Loading editor
    • I'm not sure how they would make this ships stat line however. Knock down one agility for the loss of four solar collectors, but would the attack value still be two? I mean, the article says decreased combat capabilities. Would that mean an attack value of one or just a more crappy dial?

        Loading editor
    • Worse dial I'm pretty sure. I mean on the show the guns don't seem to be any different than the regular TIEs; they're just less maneuverable. They've certainly got better guns than the HWK; for comparison, even the quadjumper has 2 attack dice. They might also lose the barrel roll or evade actions.

        Loading editor
    • I think the combat capabilities of a TIE fighter would be greatly diminished by a reduction in agility...

so 2/2/3/0 or even 2/2/2/0 with an illicit slot and a dial somewhat compareable to a TIE... maybe a 5-K Turn instead of a 3-K Turn or something like this. And than a Title that makes it cheaper, but forces it to move before any other ship of the same pilot skill moves (no matter initiative) and to only attack after all other ships of its pilotskill attacked.

        Loading editor
    • Reduced agility doesn't necessarily mean much worse combat capabilities.  The new Special Forces TIE is less agile, but it's still maneuverable.  Agility is simply your ability to dodge out of the enemy's fire, wich isn't necessarily the same as pulling tight maneuvers of flying fast.

        Loading editor
    • Yes, but the TIE SF has also 3 shields, which means he can survive a little bit more than twice as many hits as a tie fighter.

        Loading editor
    • What I'm saying is, reducing agility doesn't require also making a worse maneuver dial.

    • I actually want an aces pack for scum.

    • What about a huge Scum ship, say the Baleen-class (Han's big freighter that ate the Falcon in FA). According to canon, it only has tractors with no guns, but there's no reason why there might be a few modified versions with armament out there. Even without the conventional weapons, give the tractors some more interesting abilities (such as using them to force additional moves on smaller ships) & it could be an interesting addition.

    • I'd like to see some atmospheric crafts put in, I know for the most part x-wing is suppose to take place in space but it could be cool if they introduced ships normally found only on planets (they could even make a playmat for a planetary battle). The T-47 'Snowspeeder' is a classic choice or if FFG is wiling to dip back into the legends universe they could get the V-wing Airspeeder from Rogue Squadron. If the rebels got the V-wing it would only be appropriate to introduce the Tie/D droid starfighter for the Imperials. As for the pirates the T-16 Skyhopper might make a nice atmospheric craft for them. Of course I don't think they should be limited to any special sort of planet battles they would work just like any other ship, just perhaps limit there ability to K-turn or perform other maneuvers that would imply something like looping or spinning about.

        Loading editor
    • The Rogue One-style Tie Reaper would be a shuttle, but it is also a bomber style ship from what I could tell. Also, it was mainly an atmospheric ship that, on rare occasions, would venture into space. Plus, we'd finally be getting our large base Tie most imperial players have been waiting on.

        Loading editor
    • Well, there most definitely won't be any ships in X-Wing from the Ole Republic era. Unless they make some sort of off-shoot series. Not only isn't it canon, but every ship in the game, currently, has been in service at the same time as the x-wing (in any of it's forms. The ARC-170 is not an exception, as it was in service with the Empire. Also Alliance Overhaul).

The Ark Angel is an interesting ship for the Empire, but it's... weird. Mostly in it's looks. Sizewise it would be the same as a Firespray, when compared to a TIE Advanced, which was docked to it (maybe it can do that in the game?), but it has so many gun emplacements and turrets, that it would most likely be a 3 attack ship. And then have either a mobile arc or a rear auxilliary arc. But can it fill a role, that the Firespray doesn't already?

My friends are discussing Krennic's Shuttle and the First Order landing craft. But the Empire already have enough shuttles as is. But Krennic hasn't been introduced as a crew card yet, so maybe? And it might be small enough to fit on a small base. The First Order landing craft, I don't really see how it could fit. It doesn't seem to have any weapon systems and it seems like a one-purpose ship. And they don't have to fit everything from the films into the game, right? Right?

There is also the Meson Martinet, the ship Finn almost boards to escape to the Outer Rim. The crew is pretty recognizable from the film, especially the captain, Sidon Ithano.

At least we will see a ship from the comics, which will open up for some more interesting ships. And at least they went with the last good-looking TIE variant. Too bad they made it a turret carrier. Now we'll see 4 TLT Empire lists with 2-3 agility.

And with the Scurrg bomber, they might as well release te N-1. SMH.

        Loading editor
    • Wow! What a group of ships. I've been predicting the Scurrg since it appeared in Armada (hardly a ground-breaking guess) but I never would have imagined seeing the Aggressor, a ship so firmly cemented in Legends, in a post-Disney wave. Maybe it'll show up in Rebels, or even, if that blue text is anything to go by, Episode VIII.

I'm not sure if it is a straight turret-carrier though, LasseKaa. I can see the TLT included, but I can't see the turret 'firing-arc' symbol on the cardboard insert. Maybe it can equip a turret only alongside a title, and hopefully that title will be unique - or you're right, we'll end up with TLT spam version two.

Also, that Scurrg comes with both a Rebel dial AND a Scum dial. What the what?

It looks like the Auzituck comes with something new. Small-base ships don't usually come with mission tokens, but this one has some weird, janky-looking sensor token things. That would explain all the reference cards, too.

      Exciting wave!

    • may this picture be faked?

        Loading editor
    • @Ajones: It's a turret carrier alright. It has the turret upgrade icon, but it's not a native turret, just like Y-wings and HWKs. The Scurrg apparently have both Scum and Rebel pilots. By the looks of it, there is only one Rebel pilot card in that lot. Those tokens with the Auztuck are reinforce tokens, as the ship has the reinforce action.

@Bloodlord: It's legit alright. It was announced at some convention.

        Loading editor
    • i've look to the tokens. really?! reinforce action on little ships?!

it'll be broken. but if we extrapolate, the action bar has TL and reinforce, so... no focus?

that's strange, perhaps it's not all the ships, but i wouldn't imagine that FFG could make a wave out of only "legend" ships.

the blue naming of the tie agressor is strange. why would they turn back to black solar panel on SW VIII? since they had created a bunch of new TIE with white solar panels.

i know that the A-wing will return in the VIII, but legend black solar panel ships...?

        Loading editor
    • I'm pretty sure that's a Focus action icon, though.

The Auzituck is canon from the Vader comic series.

    • Ah, got ya. Boy I hope it's not like the old days with the 4xY-wing TLT. I mean, TLT spam is not that hard to beat, but it's also not that much fun to play against.

    • Siener Specialist (17) + TLT (6) + Lightweight Frame (2) = 25 points, fitting exactly 4 in a fleet.  Hrm...

It may become very uncomfortable to field TLTs for a while, thanks to the stigma the new wave of TLT spam could unleash.  The ship sits on only 4 hull and 1 shield, and we haven't seen the dial yet.  Maybe it's all straights and banks.  :)

On a happier note, I like that Unguided Rockets give the TIE Punisher something new and fun to do. You can build an endless missile boat filler for cheap!

Edit: it was a store tournament though, but still, I've done it

    • Deathrain did somewhat well during Wave 7 when he could devatate the Interceptors that were hanging around at the time.

The TIE Avenger, Bomber, and Punisher are the only ships with double missile slots I believe.

    • I once played two bombers and a punisher in a store tournament.  It was a 200 point Tantive fleet vs two allies 100 point players.  He had a few support ships but I forget what they were (we murdered them fast).  My buddy brought 3 TIE Defenders, and I had bombs and missiles.

We won.  ^_^  It was for small prizes though (a couple acrylic tokens and a Predator card, or something like that), just a casual tournament.

I did it once with Deathrain. It singlehandedly took out an Aggressor in two turns.

    • It seems that nobody has put the page up for the Auzituck. Anyone mind giving me a walktrough on how to do this right? Learning experiences?

        Loading editor
    • I was going to do that, But realised that I have no Idea how to either.  A page on making pages would be nice.

        Loading editor
    • The best way to add a new page is to find a similar page (an Upgrade, a Pilot, a whole ship expansion) and then go into edit mode on that page. Copy all of the contents (CTRL+A and then CTRL+C). Close the page, then go to the page you want to create. When in edit mode on the new page, you paste what you copied earlier (CTRL+V), and then go through and modify the categories to match the new card.

I do this for every page I add. Sometimes I accidentally leave in some old information, but it's a great way of keeping the wikia uniform. Remember when adding the new page to upscale the images: 600px wide for ship expansion images, 300px wide for pilots, and you leave the upgrades at default.

I won't modify the newly created page yet, in order to give someone else a go at learning the above method. If it's still in placeholder mode in an hour or two, I'll fix it up, but I heartily encourage anyone willing to have a crack!

      • Singsong voice* I see a bomblet generator card in that scurrg lineup!

Another duel card with that tie fighter? FFG really wants to broaded that category.

And it looks like the rebels have a double crew card as well. Wookieshuttle!

    • 1 point and two crew to reroll all focus results.

      Meta breaking.

        Loading editor
    • It might be nice on the Ghost. Gives Kanan a second chance to hang on to his token for defence, lets Chopper do his stress thing and get away with not focusing.

        Loading editor
    • I was thinking of Hera crew with Wookiee Commando and FCS on the Ghost, that way you'd never need an action, but then I realized that the Ghost only has two crew slots weirdly. It does help on TLTs however.

The default use is obviously on the Auzituck and then Reinforce all the time.

Using it on the Falcon and then evading all the time seems cool though, theoretically you could do Han's Predator shenanigans with it.

    • YV929 Armed Transport or a Republic Gunship for the Rebels is what I am hoping for. :)

Fury Interceptor and/ or Tie Avenger for the Empire. Scum, no idea.

    • Also, let it be noted that with the past 2 Waves, FFG has announced a new Wave, only to drop in an additional 2 ships from the upcoming movies. So perhaps we can expect 2 ships from the Last Jedi?

Please no, please just let this wave be movie free, I can't handle ffg releasing another mediocre movie character card (Poe and rey and the entire original trilogy except poor Leia got good cards, but they also weren't rushed [save for poe])

        Loading editor
    • Actually, two waves out of the last 3.

Wave 8 had the TIE/fo and T-70 added, wave 10 had the Striker and U-Wing added.

I presume this wave will be a movie free wave, wave 12 will probably be the one that has the movie ships.

        Loading editor
    • watch ffg announce "oh, by the way, there's also this ship coming in this wave: the scum gunboat!" Just to make the forums flow with salt

        Loading editor
    • Perhaps we'll get a new core set with the new movie. Maybe it may be some of the new ships. Seems like this movie will have a new A-Wing in the movie so that could be something to consider.

        Loading editor
    • What if we got two Rebel ships and a single imperial ship in the next core set???

        Loading editor
    • Very possible. If we do get another core set though, what would be changed? Jumpmasters being the odd ship out, I personally feel everything is FAIRLY balanced. Maybe a pack in the Most Wanted format? Three ships and a nice slew of upgrade cards.

        Loading editor
    • That's... thats crazy talk.  BURN THE WITCH!

(I actually would be in favor of that; in fact a core set with all three factions would be amazing)

        Loading editor
    • I feel like the basics will still be included to get people to buy the core set off of some movie hype.

There's a couple damage cards I feel could be changed to make them somewhat better.

Thrust Control Fire doesn't hurt some ships because they either have the greens to compensate or don't care about stress. Adding a stress and two ion tokens may work. Or maybe just two ion tokens would be damaging enough. Generally I see it pretty easily ignored.

Major Explosion I feel should include crits.

Maybe shaken pilot should be you may only perform speed 1 or 2 maneuvers? I feel as if just straights is too forgiving, and I've never seen somebody care about it.

        Loading editor
    • Much as I love the Wave Eleven that was announced, to me at least, it feels like a filler wave honestly. I think FFG is waiting to announce later this year, probably in September something to coincide with the new movie. A core set or a multiship pack is most likely, with a handful of smaller blisters to go with it.

        Loading editor
    • We tend to get 2 waves a year. I expect another wave to be coming.

And honestly...I like the filler waves :p

Give me mah cahmics. I want all my cahmics stuff. I want the Naboo Starfighter with Princess Leia and Evaan Verlaine pilots.

I want my Doctor Aphra (and Black Krrsantan?) pilot(s) and BT-1 and 0-0-0 crew cards.

        Loading editor
    • I'm still not entirely sold on the N1. THe ARC-170 makes sense to me as it is not only what inspired the X-Wing but the backstory works. The N1 was used on some Rebel world but not many. Plus, upgrade wise, it is very similar to the X-Wing. Mech and torps.

I love the idea of Aphra in X-WIng though. GIve me those two Imp droids please!!

        Loading editor
    • Eh, if we're going purely thematically, just give the N-1 nothing but unique pilots.

If we were going by theme, the ARC should really be an Imperial ship, especially because it was still used in the Empire during the Tarkin novel.

        Loading editor
    • That is true. How about giving the Imperials a V-Wing? Outdated but it could be their A-Wing, statwise. 2/3/2/2. Missiles and imperial only droids??

        Loading editor
    • Honestly, the V-Wing very well could be the first ship to be in all three factions. Not sure how they'd implement droids however.

That said, I don't want another upgrade category (namely an Imperial droid slot) that is only available for one ship for an entire two waves like what happened with the Salvaged Astromechs.

The other thing on my wishlist would just be a Most Wanted style pack where some pilots got moved onto different ships.

Luke, Wedge, Wes, and Hobbie in A/B/Y-Wings, Ten Numb, Corran, and Thane Kyrell in X-Wings, Shara in an A-Wing, Norra in a Y-Wing, Bralyen Stramm in a B-Wing. I'm planning on trying a playtest of those soon. Other ideas could be Talonbane Cobra in a Starviper, Juno Eclipse and Deathrain in Bombers, and Sabine in a Starkiller Base.

        Loading editor
    • So, like a Rogue Squadron pack?? If so, I am definitely down. They could fix three ships in one go. X,Y and E.

        Loading editor
    • What you're doing is cruel.  If this never happens, I'll be devastated...

        Loading editor
    • Wazat, I am planning on eventually playtesting the Rogue Squadron ones. When that actually happens I'll let you know how it goes.

        Loading editor
    • At the big FFG brouhaha a week or two ago one of the audience questions was about a 'Corellian Conflict' style campaign for X-wing. I forget the specifics of the answer (I was parsing the videos for Destiny information), but their reply amounted to the two presenters sharing a significant look, twirling their moustaches, and saying in a smug tone that they: "weren't ready to comment on that at this time."

Might be getting some mass fixes in a Campaign box this year.

        Loading editor
    • That could be as big as it's far in stages of development or as small as it's a thing they've discussed and thought of...

      That's really cruel Ajones! :p
